| Speakers from the
carriers and organizations will outline their goals
for new bargaining rounds. Clint Miller of the
UTU, Ken Gradia of the Carriers' Conference, and Pat
Szymanski, General Counsel of the International
Brotherhood of Teamsters, will keynote the NARR
program on Friday morning. President Frank
Quinn will moderate a discussion where the parties
will discuss important procedural issues and
arbitral challenges.
NARR has been meeting with the Section III
Committee and will join in asking the NMB to
postpone the date for comments on proposed rule
changes. In the meantime, NARR will file a
response to the proposed rule changes and ask to be
heard at the public comment session. A copy of
the NARR response will be available at the Chicago
meeting. Members of the NMB will discuss the
proposed rule changes on Saturday, September 11. |
